1	c	Brown sugar
1/2	c	Butter
1/2	c	Milk
1 1/2	c	Flour
1/2	c	Raisins
1/2	c	Nuts
1	ts	Soda
3	oz	Chocolate

Melt butter and chocolate together over hot water; blend in brown sugar, then stir in milk. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine dry ingredients with chocolate mixture and stir until moistened. Stir in raisins and nuts.

Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets and bake in 350 F oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
