4 1 | /2 c | cooking apples -- cut in 1" |
: | | cubes |
: | 3/4 | c water |
: | 3/4 | c apple juice |
: | 1/4 | ts nutmeg |
: | 1/4 | ts cinnamon |
: | 1/2 | ts vanilla |
Wash, peel and core apples. Cut in 1 " cubes. Combine all ingredients.
Place in a glass loaf dish (apple stay moist in a loaf pan) and pour juice
mixture over the top. Bake, uncovered, in a 325 F preheated oven for 45
minute. Remove from oven and cool. Store in the refrigerator tightly
