Title: Banana Orange Date Oatmeal Micro

1 | c | Water |
1/4 | ts | Salt (optional) |
1/8 | ts | Ground nutmeg |
1 1/2 | c | Oatmeal; uncooked DO NOT USE INSTANT |
3/4 | c | Chopped dates or raisins |
1 | md | Ripe banana; mashed |
In 3-quart microwaveable bowl, combine orange juice, water, salt, nutmeg, oatmeal and dates or raisins. Microwave on high (100% power) 6 to 7 minutes for quick oatmeal, or 9 to 10 minutes for old-fashioned oatmeal, or until most of the juice is absorbed, stir. Stir in banana. Let stand until of desired consistency.
