Title: Black Walnut Pie

1 | c | Sugar, brown |
2 | Eggs, separated | |
1/2 | c | Nuts, chopped |
1/8 | ts | Salt |
1 1/2 | c | Milk |
6 | tb | Flour |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 | tb | Butter, melted |
Seperate eggs. Add brown sugar to yolks in pan. Add flour and salt and mix. Add milk, mixed in a little at a time. Cook until thick. Add nutmeats, vanilla and butter. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into baked shell and bake at 400~ F until firm.
