Title: Browned Butter Nuggets

Yield: 30 Cookies

30		Whole filberts
1/2	c	Butter
1/4	c	Powdered sugar
1/2	ts	Vanilla
1 1/4	c	Sifted all purpose flour
		Powdered sugar for rolling

Toast filberts in oven at 325 degrees for about 10 minutes. Watch closely.

Brown butter slowly, remove from heat; cool slightly.

Stir in sugar and vanilla; blend in flour.

Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough around cooled filberts to form balls.

Place on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes. Cool; roll in powdered sugar.
