Title: Cashew Cookies

1 1/3 | c | UNSALTED coarsely chopped cashews |
2 | c | Unbleached white flour |
3/4 | ts | Baking powder |
3/4 | ts | Baking soda |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
3/4 | c | Light brown sugar |
2 | tb | Light brown sugar |
1/2 | c | Unsalted butter |
1 | Egg | |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1/2 | c | Sour cream |
These are from Rose Levy Berenbaum's "Christmas Cookies," and are quite good.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Soften butter. Mix flour, baking powder and soda, salt, and cashews. Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in sour cream. Add flour mixture.
