3 | c | Confectioner's sugar |
1 | ts | Vanilla extract |
10 | Egg whites | |
4 | c | Sifted flour |
Cream butter, add the sugar and beat well. Add vanilla. LIttle by little add the egg whites, the fold in the flour. Using a pastry bag with a small plain round tube, pipe strips of dough about 3 inches long (8cm) onto lightly buttered baking sheets - leaving about 2 inches (5cm) between them. Bake in preheated 425F (220C) oven for 7 ~ 8 minutes or until edges are delicately browned.
