Title: Cheat's Chocolate Croissants

6 | Croissants, use good quality fresh ones | |
250 | g | Chocolate, dark, a good chocolate with over 50% cocoa solids |
Prte-heat oven to 190^C. Carefully slice each croissant in half horizontally. Cut chocolate into small chuncks and liberally cover the lower half of each croissant with three-quarters of the chocolate. Replace their tops and transfew to a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until chocolate has just melted.
Melt remaining chocolate in a small bowl over a pan of simmering water. This can then be drizzled over the top of the warm croissants. The end result will be extrememly chocolately, so serve with lots of paper napkins. Oh, the SERVINGS: above should read 6! [I have just changed it to match my own palate...]
