Title: Cherry Bavarian Pie

1 | pk | Cherry gelatin |
1 1/2 | c | Hot water |
1/2 | c | Canned cherry juice |
2 | ts | Lemon juice |
1 | c | Drained canned cherries |
1 | Baked 8 inch pie shell | |
1/4 | c | Light cream |
Dissolve gelatin in hot water; add fruit juices. Chill 1-1/2 cups gelatin mixture until slightly thickened. Add cherries. Turn into cold pie shell; chill until firm. Place remaining slightly thickened gelatin in bowl of ice and water; whip with rotary egg beater until fluffy and thick. Fold in cream. Pile lightly on firm gelatin. Chill. Yields eight servings.
