Melt semi-sweet and unsweetened chocolate squares with butter over low heat or in microwave on Medium power 3 minutes. Stir until smooth; cool to room temperature. Beat eggs with sugar on high speed of electric mixer until ribbons are formed when beaters are lifted, about 5 minutes. Beat in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets 2 inches apart. Bake at 325F for 10 minutes, or until slightly cracked but moist. Cool 2 minutes, then transfer cookies to wire rack to cool completely. Helpful Hint: Vary the nuts to suit your taste.
