Title: Chocolate Chunk Pecan Cookies

Yield: 4 Servings

1cMargarine
3/4cPacked brown sugar
1/2cWhite sugar
1 Egg
1tsVanilla
2cFlour
1tsBaking soda
1/4tsSalt
6 Squares semi-sweet chocolate
  Chopped
3/4cCoarsely chopped pecans

Cream the margarine, sugars, egg and vanilla until light and creamy. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt together and add to creamed mixture a bit at a time. Blend together until well mixed. Add the pecans and the chocolate chunks and fold in gently. Drop dough onto a greased bakine sheet and bake at 375F for 9-12 minutes or until a light golden colour. Cool slightly before removing to cooling rack. Store in airtight container or freeze.
