Title: Chocolate-Dip Cookies

2cFlour
1/2tsSalt
1/4tsBaking Powder
1 1/2tbMaxwell House Instant Coffee
1tsVanilla
1cButter or margarine
3/4cSugar
1 Egg
4 Sqrs. Baker's semi-sweet chocolate, melted
3/4cFinely chopped walnuts or pecans

Chocolate-Dip Cookies

Mix flour with salt and baking powder. Dissolve coffee in the vanilla. Cream butter. Gradually beat in sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Add egg and coffee mixture and beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 o for 10-12 mins. Cool thoroughly. Dip half of each cookie into melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts.

Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
