Title: Company's Comin' Cookies

Yield: 4 Dozen
| 1 | c | Parkay margarine |
| 1 | c | Sugar |
| 1 | c | Brown sugar; packed |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 1 | ts | Vanilla |
| 1 1/2 | c | Flour |
| 1 | ts | Cream of tartar |
| 1 | ts | Baking soda |
| 1 | ts | Salt |
| 3 | c | Old fashioned or quick oats; uncooked |
| 1 | c | Nuts; chopped |
Cream margarine and sugars until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add combined flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Stir in oatmeal and nuts. Shape dough into a roll 2.1/2" in diameter; wrap in aluminum foil. Freeze 2 hrs. Cut roll into 1/4" slices; place, 2" apart, on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350~ for 12 to 15 mins., or until lightly browned.
For smaller cookies, shape dough into a roll 1.1/2" in diameter. Makes approx. 7 dozen cookies.
