3/4 | c | Confectioners' sugar |
3 | oz | Cream cheese |
1 1/2 | tb | Cream or milk |
1 1/2 | ts | Grated lemon or orange rind |
Or | ||
1 | ts | Vanilla and |
1/2 | ts | Cinnamon |
Or | ||
ds | Liqueur, lemon or orange juice and grated rind |
Work the cream cheese and the cream or milk until soft and fluffy. Sift the sugar and beat in gradually. Add the lemon or orange rind, OR the vanilla and cinnamon, or the liqueur, juice and rind.
If you want a pink icing blend in 1 tablespoon chopped maraschino cherries.
