4 | Eggs | |
1 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | c | Vegetable oil |
1 | ts | Salt |
1 | c | Sifted Flour |
1 | lb | Pitted dates |
4 | c | Whole pecans |
combine eggs, sugar and oil. Beat well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Place in greased and floured 9-inch loaf pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours.
Makes 1 (3-pound) loaf. NOTE: DON'T PREHEAT OVEN BEFORE PUTTING CAKE IN TO BAKE
