Title: David's Homestyle Chocolate Chunk Cookies

9 | tb | Butter; room temp |
1 | Egg; separated | |
6 | tb | Superfine sugar |
1 | c | Flour |
1 | pn | Salt |
6 | oz | Chocolate chunks |
Combine 8 tbsp butter, egg yolk, sugar, flour, and salt in a bowl. When completely blended, add the chocolate chunks. Divide the dough in half and roll each one into a cylinder about 1.1/2" in diameter and 6" long. Refrigerate until hard; about 2 hars. Preheat oven to 375~. Grease 2 baking sheets w/the remaining butter. Remove dough from frig and slice into 3/8" rounds. Place on baking sheet about 2" apart. Brush the top of each cookie with egg white. Bake for 12-14 mins. or until they begin to brown. Cool and eat.
