1 | tb | Butter |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
2 | tb | Flour, self-raising |
1 1/4 | c | Milk |
2 | Eggs | |
2 | Lemons |
Cream butter and sugar, add flour, mix again, add juice of lemon and rind of one, then add milk and beaten yolks.
Whip the egg whites stiff, and beat all together and place in a piedish, stand in a large dish of warm water and bake in a moderate oven till golden brown.
When done it will be firm on top and creamy underneath. Serve with cream.
