4 | c | Peaches-fresh sliced or froz |
1 | c | Sugar |
3/4 | c | Flour |
3 | tb | Flour |
2 | tb | Butter; melted |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | c | Shortening |
2 | tb | Water |
Fat grams per serving: Approx. Cook Time: 00:35 1. Preheat oven to 400 deg. F. Put peaches in bottom of an 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake in oven until peaches start to simmer. Mix together the sugar and the 3 tablespoons of flour and sprinkle over peaches. Add melted butter. 2. Put remaining flour into a bowl; add salt and shortening and work with finger tips until mixture resembles coarse oatmeal. Mix in water to form a stiff dough. 3.
