Break open the spaghetti, then break into 1 1/2-to 2-inch chunks.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Maria De Lourdes Modesto, Portugals Julia Child, says it's best not to use any metal implements when handling 'chila' because it affects the flavour. So I have followed her advice in working with spaghetti squash.
