Title: French Raisin Pie

Yield: 1 Pie
INGREDIENTS | ||
3 | Eggs, beaten | |
1/2 | c | Butter, melted |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Ground cinnamin |
1/2 | ts | Ground Allspice |
Dash salt | ||
1/2 | c | Chopped black walnuts |
1/2 | c | Raisins *(see note) |
1 | ts | Vinegar |
1 | ct | Whipped cream |
1 | Unbaked 8 inch pastry shell | |
DIRECTIONS |
Combine first nine ingredients, mix well and pour into pastry shell. Bake at 300 degrees f. for 50 minutes. Serve warm or chilled topped with whipped cream.
*NOTE: Try soaking raisins in Rum over night before placing in pie. Also I like to use 1 cup raisins in stead of 1/2 cup.
