Title: Fresh Strawberry Cake

1 | Box white cake mix | |
1/2 | c | Crushed strawberries (fresh or frozen) |
1 | Stick butter/margarine | |
1 | 3 oz. box strawberry Jello | |
4 | Eggs | |
1/2 | c | Milk |
ICING: | ||
1 | lb | Box of powdered sugar |
1/2 | Stick margarine, softened | |
1/2 | c | Crushed strawberries (if frozen, DRAIN!!!) |
Cream Margarine. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Add cake mix, jello, strawberries and milk. Mix well. Bake in three 8 or 9 inch pans at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pans, cool and ice.
ICING
Cream margarine and sugar and mix well. Add crushed strawberries and mix to spreading consistancy, using juice if needed. Spread onto cake. Arrange strawberry slices on top of cake.
