Title: Garlic Chip Cookies

10 | Garlic toes | |
1/2 | c | Syrup, maple |
1 | c | Butter, softened |
3/4 | c | Sugar, brown |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
2 | Eggs | |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
2 1/2 | c | Chocolate chips |
1/2 | c | Nuts, chopped (your choice) |
2 1/2 | c | Flour |
1 | ts | Baking soda |
Drop toes in boiling water and cook for 5 min. max. Peel and chop garlic and soak in maple syrup for 20 min. Cream butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine floour, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mix. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Drain garlic and add to batter-blend well. Drop batter by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet about two inches apart and bake for 8-10 min. till lightly browned.
