Title: Ginger Cookie-Press Cookies

2 | c | All-purpose flour |
1 1/2 | ts | Ground ginger |
1 | ts | Ground cinnamon |
1/4 | ts | Ground cloves |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1 | c | Unsalted butter -- at room |

3/4 | c | Firmly packed golden brown |
Sugar | ||
1 | tb | Grated orange zest |
Preheat oven to 350~. Sift together flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and salt into a bowl; set aside. Combine butter, brown sugar and orange zest in a large bowl. Using an electric mixer set on high, beat until light and fluffy. Reduce speed to low, add flour mixture and mix until well blended. Pack dough into cookie press. Fit with the desired design plate. Press dough out onto ungreased baking sheets, about 1-1/2 inches apart. Bake until just firm to the touch, about 15 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Makes about 4 dozen.
