Title: Golden Pound Cake

CARNATION EVAPORATED MILK CA | ||
3 | c | Flour, cake |
1 1/2 | ts | Baking powder |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Mace, ground |
1 | c | Butter; softened |
1 1/2 | c | Sugar |
1 | ts | Extract, vanilla |
3 | Eggs | |
1/2 | c | Milk, evaporated |

Preheat oven to 350 F. In medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and mace; set aside. In large mixer bowl, cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add dry ingredients alternately with small amounts of milk, beating well after each addition. Pour into greased and floured 10" fluted tube pan. Bake 35-40 minutes, until wooden skewer comes out clean.
Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and invert onto rack to cool completely. Dust with sifted powdered sugar and serve with fresh strawberries, if desired.
