Title: Grape Streusel Pie

The Grape Pie: | ||
4 1/2 | c | Concord grapes |
1 | c | Sugar |
1/4 | c | Flour |
1 | tb | Lemon juice |
1 | ds | Salt |
1 | 9-inch pie shell, unbaked | |
Streusel Topping: | ||
1/2 | c | Quick-cooking oats |
1/2 | c | Brown sugar |
1/4 | c | Flour |
4 | tb | Butter |
Wash grapes and remove skins. Reserve skins. Place pulp in saucepan and bring to a boil; cook until seeds separate out. Put through a food mill or sieve to remove seeds. Mix strained pulp with reserved skins. Stir in sugar, flour, lemon juice and salt. Put mixture into pastry lined pie plate.
Streusel Topping
Mix oats, sugar and flour; cut in butter. Place on top of pie. Bake at 450 F. for 35-40 minutes
