1/3cVegetable Oil
1lgEgg
1cSquash, cooked, mashed
1 1/2cUnbleached White Flour
1/2tsBaking Powder
1tsNutmeg
1/2tsCinnamon
1 1/2cDates, finely chopped

Beat together oil, egg, and sqash. Add flour, baking powder and spices. Beat well; stir in dates. Drop batter by small teaspoonfuls onto lightly oiled baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until firm to the touch. Cool on wire racks.
