Title: Hazelnut Praline Sauce

Yield: 2 Cups

3/4cRoasted & chopped hazelnuts (Oregon hazelnuts)
1/2cButter or margarine
3/4cFirmly packed brown sugar
3tbLight corn syrup
1dsSalt
1 1/4cUndiluted evaporated milk
1tsVanilla

Saut‚ hazelnuts in butter over medium heat in saucepan 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove hazelnuts and reserve. Add sugar, corn syrup and salt to butter in saucepan. Stir over low heat until mixture boils. Gradually add milk and bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Stir in hazelnuts and vanilla. Serve warm.
