Title: Kentucky Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie

1 c | sugar | |
1 c | light corn syrup | |
1 | /2 c | butter |
4 l | g eggs -- lightly beaten | |
1 | /4 c | bourbon |
1 t | vanilla extract | |
1 | /4 t | salt |
1 c | semisweet chocolate chips | |
1 c | pecan pieces | |
1 | 9 inch | |
: | unbaked pastry shell |
Preheat oven to 325F. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan
and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until butter melts and
sugar dissolves. Cool slightly. Beat eggs, bourbon, vanilla, and salt in
a large bowl; gradually add sugar mixture, beating well with a wire whisk.
Stir in chocolate chips and pecans; pour into pastry shell. Bake for 50 to
55 minutes, or until set. Serve warm or chilled. Source: Whistle Stop
