1/2 | c | Crisco (Butter-Flavored |

1/2 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | c | Firmly packed brown sugar |
2 | tb | Milk |
1 | Egg | |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 1/4 | c | All-purpose flour |
1/2 | ts | Baking soda |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
2 | c | Crisp rice cereal (Rice |
Krispies) | ||
1 | c | Miniature semi-sweet |

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a baking sheet and set aside.
Combine the Crisco, sugar, brown sugar and milk in a large bowl and cream with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking soda and salt and add to the creamed mixture, mixing until blended. Stir in the cereal and chocolate chips.
Drop the batter by level teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 9 minutes. Remove to a cooling rack
