Title: M&m Chocolate Chip Cookies

WHAT GOES IN
2cAll-purpose flour
3/4tsBaking powder
3/4tsSalt
1cButter softened
2/3cSugar
1/2cLt Brown sugar Firmly packed
1lgEgg
1tsVanilla extract
1 3/4cM&M's
3/4cChopped nuts (optional)
1cRaisins (optional)
HOW TO PART

Preheat oven to 375 degress F.

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a large mixing bowl cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in M&M's and nuts and/or raisins, if using.

Drop by heaping measuring spoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake 8 to 11 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool 1 min on baking sheet; place on wire racks to cool completely. Store in tightly covered container.

HINT: For "chewy" cookies bake for 8 to 9 minutes. For "crispy" cookies bake for 10 to 11 minutes.
