4 | lg | Mangos, peeled; seeded, slic |
1 | c | White raisins; plumped |
1 | sm | Lime; juice of |
1 1/4 | c | Flour |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 | tb | Sugar |
1 | ts | Baking powder |
1/2 | c | Butter |
1 | | Yolk |
2 | tb | Milk |
| | Topping |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
1 1/2 | tb | Flour |
2 | tb | Butter |
1/2 | ts | Nutmeg |

*Let the sliced mangos drain a little before adding to the recipe.
Mix dry ingredients; cut in cold butter. Add milk to egg yolk and beat
slightly. Add to dry mixture. Grease a 9" square glass dish and spread
batter evenly. Cover the cake batter with the sliced mangos, raisins and
squeeze lime over fruit. Spread the topping over the all and bake at 375
degrees for about 30-35 minutes. Serve warm with a dollop of sweetened
whipped cream.
