Title: Reba Mcentire's Strawberry Cobbler

2 | 10 oz bg Frozen Strawberries | |
3/4 | c | -Water |
2 1/2 | c | Sugar |
1 1/2 | c | Flour |
1 | tb | Baking Powder |
1 | c | Milk |
1/2 | c | Butter or Margarine; melted |
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Thaw strawberries and mix with 3/4 cup water. Mash strawberries and water together with 1 cup sugar; set aside.
Mix flour with remaining 1 1/2 cups sugar, baking powder and milk. Pour melted butter in 9 X 13-glass baking dish. Pour in flour mixture. Pour strawberry mixture on top of flour mixture. Bake 40 to 50 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
