1tsSoda
1cButtermilk
1tsVinegar
CREAM CHEESE ICING FOR RED V
1 Stick Margarine or Butter
1lb10x Powdered Sugar
8ozCream Cheese (Room
  Temperature)
1tsVanilla

Cream Shortening and Sugar. Add Eggs. Mix Cocoa and Food Color in a Cup. Add to Mixture. Add Vanilla. Sift Flour and Salt Together. Add to Mixture Alternately with Buttermilk. Fold in Soda and Vinegar. Bake in 3 Layers at 325 Degrees for 30 Minutes or until Done. Frost with Cream Cheese Icing.

Cream Cheese Icing for Red Velvet Cake

Cream Butter and Cream Cheese until Fluffy. Slowly Add Powdered Sugar While Continuing to Beat. Add Vanilla
