Title: Regal Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 | c | Margarine; softened |
1 | c | Dark brown sugar; packed |
1 | c | Granulated sugar |
2 | lg | Eggs |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 1/2 | c | Flour |
1 | ts | Baking soda |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
3 | c | Uncooked oatmeal |
12 | oz | Chocolate chips |
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large bowl, beat margarine until light. Add sugars; beat until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips until thoroughly combined.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are just set. Do not over bake. Makes about 5 dozen.
