Title: Rosemary Refrigerator Cookies

Yield: 5 Dozen
1 | c | All-purpose flour |
1/2 | c | Butter |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
1 | Egg yolk; beaten | |
1/2 | ts | Vanilla |
2 | tb | Chopped fresh rosemary |
1 3/4 | ts | Grated lemon zest |
1/8 | ts | ;salt |
Powdered sugar |
Combine flour and butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add sugar; mix well. Add egg yolk, vanilla, rosemary, lemon zest and salt. Blend well and shape into oblong rolls. Wrap in wax paper and chill overnight. Slice 1/4-inch thick. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Bake at 350ø F. 10 minutes.
