1/2 | c | Dried Figs -- chopped |
1 | lg | Egg -- well beaten |
3/4 | c | Milk |
1/4 | c | Butter |
TOPP | ING. | 1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter |
3 | /4 | cup brown sugar |
1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbs. evaporated milk Sift flour with
baking powder, salt and sugar; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse
meal. Add figs. Stir in egg and milk. Spread mixture in buttered 9-inch
square pan. TOPPING. Blend ingredients together; spread over batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
