3tbGranulated Sugar
1/2cDried Figs -- chopped
1lgEgg -- well beaten
3/4cMilk
1/4cButter
TOPPING.1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
3/4cup brown sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbs. evaporated milk Sift flour with baking powder, salt and sugar; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add figs. Stir in egg and milk. Spread mixture in buttered 9-inch square pan. TOPPING. Blend ingredients together; spread over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
