FILLING: | ||
6 | oz | Chocolate chips |
3 | oz | Cream cheese |
1/3 | c | Milk |
1/2 | c | Chopped nuts |
2 | tb | Seasame seeds |
1/2 | ts | Vanilla |
1 | ts | Almond extract |
PASTRY: | ||
1/2 | c | Flour |
1/2 | ts | Baking powder |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | c | Butter |
1 | Egg | |
1 | ts | Almond extract |
In a heavy sauce pan over low heat blend and melt the chips, cheese and milk. Remove from heat, add rest of the FILLING ingredients and set aside.
Mix all the PASTRY ingredients together and spread 2/3 on the bottom of a 9 X 9 greased pan. Spead filling over it and sprinkle the remaining pastry crumbs on top.
Bake at 350 until the crumbs on top are brown. Cool and cut in bars or squares.
