Title: Strawberry Bavarian Pie

1 | pk | Strawberry Flavor Gelatin |
1/4 | c | Sugar |
1 | c | Boiling water |
1/4 | c | Cold water |
1 | pn | Fresh strawberries, hulled and halved |
1 3/4 | c | Thawed Cool Whip |
1 | Baked 9 inch pie shell |
Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water, add cold water. Chill until thickened. Arrange strawberries in bottom of pie shell. With electric mixer ad medium speed, beat thickened gelatin until fluffy, thick and about doubled its volume. Blend in one cup of the whipped topping. Chill until mixture sets up slightly. Spoon mounds of this over berries in pie shell. Chill about 4 hours.
Garnish with remaining whipped topping and additional berries if desired.
