Title: Strawberry Sundae (WW 1970)*

SAUCE | ||
2 | c | Sliced strawberries |
Artificial sweetener to | ||
Equal 8 tsp sugar | ||
4 | tb | Water |
4 | c | WW Ice Cream (See Below) |
ICE CREAM | ||
2/3 | c | Non fat dry milk |
2/3 | c | Ice water |
Artificial sweetener to | ||
Equal 1/2 cup sugar | ||
2 | ts | Vanilla extract |
2 | ts | Lemon juice |
Sauce directions: Sprinkle strawberries with sweetener and water, chill.
Reserving one large strawberry slice for top of each serving , place fruit in dessert dish. Scoop WW ice cream (see recipe) over fruit; top with reserved strawberry.
Personal Note: If resizing recipe be sure to pay attention to sugar replacement.
Directions for "Ice Cream" Place dry milk in deep bowl; add remaining ingredients. Beat at low speed of electric mixer for one minute or until blended, then beat at high speed 8 minutes or until mixture is the consistency of thick cream and will measure about four cups.
Freeze for three hours OR until mixture is firm and similar to ice cream.
