Title: Sunbeam Apple Pudding

Yield: 1 Servings
6 | c | Canned sliced apples OR |
6 | c | Thin sliced cored cooking apples |
1/4 | c | Lemon juice |
1/4 | c | Granulated sugar |
2 | c | Fine graham cracker crumbs |
1 | c | Brown sugar |
1 1/2 | ts | Ground cinnamon |
1/2 | ts | Ground nutmeg |
1/2 | c | Melted butter or margarine |
1/3 | c | Finely chopped nuts |
Brush frypan with melted butter or margarine. Add apples. Sprinkle with lemon juice and granulated sugar.
Combine crumbs, brown sugar, spices and melted butter. Mix well with a fork. Spread over apples. Sprinkle nuts over top.
Cover frypan, open vent, set dial at simmering point. Bake about 30 minutes. Spoon into serving dishes. Serve warm with light cream or ice cream.
NOTE 1: Canned, drained sliced peaches may be substituted for the apples. Omit the granulated sugar.
NOTE 2: Recipe may be cut in half. Bake 20 minutes.
