Title: Sunbeam Fried Apple Slices

2 | lg | Tart firm apples |
Granulated sugar | ||
2 | tb | Butter or margarine |
Ground cinnamon |
Wash, core, cut crosswise into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices, firm, tart, large apples. Dip into granulated sugar.
Preheat frypan to 300 degrees F. Melt 2 to 3 tablespoons butter in frypan and add slices. Brown on both sides, turning with a pancake turner. If apples are not tender when browned, cover and fry a few minutes longer with vent open. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and serve with sausages, ham, etc.
