Title: [Bubba-L] Abigail Van Buren's Pecan Pie

1 | c | White corn syrup |
1 | c | Brown sugar |
1/3 | ts | Salt |
1/3 | c | Butter or marg; melted |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
3 | Eggs; slightly beaten | |
1 | 9 inch pie shell | |
1 | c | Whole pecans; shelled |
Combine 1 c. white corn syrup, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/3 t. salt, 1/3 c. butter or margarine (melted), and 1 t. vanilla. Mix well. Add 3 slightly beaten eggs. Pour into unbaked 9-in. pie shell. Sprinkle 1 heaping cup shelled whole pecans over all. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for approximately 45 minutes.
