1 | cn | (large) tomatoes |
1 | cn | (large) water |
1 | lg | Onion; chopped |
2 | Cloves garlic; minced | |
1 | Green pepper; chopped | |
2 | Ribs celery; chopped | |
2 | -(up to) | |
3 | tb | Thyme |
2 | Bay leaves | |
1 | ts | Parsley flakes |
2 | ts | Salt |
Red pepper to taste | ||
2 | c | Sliced okra |
2 | lb | Shrimp; crabs, oysters, scallops or lobster |
Simmer all ingredients except okra and seafood, the longer the better! Add okra and seafood last and cook until done. Add more thyme if needed.
