Title: Sean's Cream Substitute

Yield: 1 Servings

10 1/2ozLow-fat silken tofu
1cPlain rice dream
1tsCrushed red pepper flakes
2tsDried basil
2 Pinches salt

Place everything in a blender and process until smooth. Can be refrigerated. Adjust seasonings for other dishes. Makes 2-1/2 cups for 1/2-cup servings.

Tip: Add this "cream" to tomato sauce for a great pink sauce. Note-- Use this great recipe as a healthy substitute for the cream in most soups and pasta sauces.JM. Posted to MC-Recipe Digest by "M. Hicks" on Feb 2, 1998
