4 | Stalks of celery; (diced) | |
1 | pk | Slivered almonds |
16 | oz | Fresh mushrooms; (sliced) |
1/2 | Green pepper; (diced) | |
8 | oz | Sausage |
2 1/2 | c | Cooked long grain and wild rice |
Cook the sausage in a large skillet. Remove the sausage from the pan. Drain most of the grease, reserving about a tablespoon. Add mushrooms, celery, and peppers to the pan and saute until water from mushrooms is gone. Combine all ingredients in large bowl and mix together. Stuff into the turkey. Bake turkey as you normally would.
