Title: Camphor Ice Soap

Yield: 1 1/2 lb
1 1/2 | c | Clean rendered tallow |
1/2 | c | Coconut oil |
3/4 | c | Cold water |
1/4 | c | Lye flakes |
2 | ts | Camphorated oil |
Melt tallow and coconut oil. Set aside to cool. Stir lye into water until completely dissolved. Set aside to cool.
When lye and fat are lukewarm, pour lye slowly into fat, stirring constantly. Continue to stir until mixture becomes thick and creamy. Just before pouring into molds, add camphorated oil, beating to disperse thoroughly. Pour into molds.
