Title: Shaving Soap

Yield: 12 Ounces
1/2 | c | Clean rendered tallow |
1/4 | c | Coconut oil |
2 | tb | Glycerine |
2 | tb | Lanolin |
1 1/2 | ts | Melted beeswax |
1/2 | c | Cold water |
2 | tb | Lye |
1/2 | ts | Eucalyptus oil |
1/2 | ts | Camphorated oil |
1/4 | ts | Each oil of cloves and cinnamon |
2 | ts | Fuller's earth |
As molds, use shaving mugs.
Melt together tallow, coconut oil and beeswax. Set aside to cool. Stir lye into cold water until dissolved, then cool.
When fat and lye are lukewarm, pour lye slowly into fat, stirring to thicken. Add lanolin, glycerine and essential oils, beating vigorously to disperse evenly. Pour into mugs.
