Title: Marshmallow Soap

Yield: 1 Batch

1/4	c	Granular dried marshmallow root
		OR
1/2	c	Thinly sliced, fresh marshmallow root
		Several drops of patchouli or vanilla fragrance

Place the sliced fresh root or granular dried root in a saucepan, with just enough water to cover. Simmer, covered, for 15 mintues over low heat. Cool the mixture and then liquefy in a blender. Strain and retain the liquid. Place the basic soap, marshmallow liquid, and water in a saucepan, substituting the marshmallow liquid for its weight in water. Stir well and add the fragrance before pouring into molds.
