6 | Leaves of dark green lettuce | |
2 | ts | Powdered benzoin |
Pale green dye, optional |
Tear the lettuce leaves into small pieces and place them in a blender. Add just enough water to enable you to liquefy them. Then liquefy, and weigh the lettuce juice, adding water to make 9 oz. Melt this mixture together with the basic soap. Add the benzoin, and the dye if desired. Stir well. Pour into molds.
