201 | g | Sodium hydroxide |
1 | lb | 3 oz distilled water |
1 | lb | Coconut oil |
14 | oz | Palm oil |
4 | oz | Gum rosin |
1 | lb | 5 oz olive oil |
12 | ts | Grapefruit seed extract optional |
7 | ts | Pure essential oil or fragrance oil, optional |
Heat the rosin along with the coconut oil and the palm oil to 180øF to completely melt the rosin. Add the olive oil and cool the mixture to 100øF. Cold-process rosin soap can be slightly grainy, so be sure to beat the mixture well.
